Today i worked a little on my blog....im finished with my layout i just need pictures and find out the winners of the senior supalitives so i can finish my page!!! :)

november 15th

WEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLL....i really don't know what to blog about? So i'm just going to talk about what happened today. Today i found out that the senior superlative pages are getting cut down from 4 pages to only 2 and from 22 to 14 categories. Im not going to lie i'm kind of upset that happened i was exited that there was a lot of categories this year...OH WELL.

Anyways i have to sell 5 years book...technically only 4 because i'm buying one. i think its silly because we are getting a grade but i'm going to try my best.

Today i edited my blog to make sure that there is nothing that someone can locate me. I also let 2 people read my letter, and i re wrote it and i send it through google dox. Today i also got some ideas to make the yearbook staff page :)

Self Reflection.

I helped with the senior superlative pages. there are basically done but need the pictures. Me and Vanessa made the list of which superlatives we are going to use. There are 22 in total. We also want to make time on a sap day to get the seniors to vote who would be the best one for that topic then on another sap day have 10-12 vote on who should win the particular category. Also i'm going to start soon on my Yearbook staff page :)




How would you evaluate your work effort in yearbook?
Im not going to lie i slack off a lot in this class, but now that we are starting to make the yearbook i'm getting more interested and not slacking off as much.


Does it reflect your capabilities, or does it fall short of what you could do? 
I know that i could do a better job i do fall short sometimes because i slack off but i still do my work not as well as i can though.


How on task are you during class?
I never was on task but lately i've been trying to stay on task 


Do you pay attention to and follow verbal and written instruction?

I have my senior page done and now i need to start on my yearbook staff page

SELF REFLECTION
I think i deserve at least a passing grade. i know at one point i slacked off and i wouldn't blog everyday, but now that we are starting the yearbook and its coming along i'm getting exited so i'm going to be more on top of things. i got one of my pages done and the categories we are going to use so i have that down. all i need it my other page then also i will help people of they need it designing their pages.

Today i talked to Sandra about my page and how the layout is going to look like. I started to work on it and i also made a list of some of the senior superlatives  we can use.

The pages that i'm doing in this years year book are Yearbook Staff and Senior Superlatives. I have noooooooooooooooooooooo idea what Yearbook staff is suppose to look like? what is Yearbook staff...IDK? anyways for senior superlatives i am a senior so it will be a fun page for me to do but i still don't know what what the topics are or how many categories are going to be or who is even running for each category.

Today in the video the bald guy talked about those 7 kinds of broken... i'm not going to lie i have no idea how we are suppose to relate this with yearbook? or our pages? the only one that i could relate to is the first one "Its not my job." Because in this yearbook we have pages assigned to us but its not al of our job to make it. I am a designer not a photographer or another position do it is  NOT my job to get pictures for my page. I do try and get it done but it isn't my job.

AND I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHY I HAVE A BAD GRADE IN THIS CLASS....I ALWAYS BLOG AND DO EVERY ASSIGNMENT. THIS IS YEARBOOK CLASS I SHOULDN'T HAVE A FAILING GRADE....

Pop Show: I attended Pop Show both Friday and Saturday i did not take any pictures but on Saturday night was bak stage with the Advance Choir and can probably give some quotes from behind the scenes, i was also at their rehearsal on thursday night. a quote that stood out to me was from Mario Sierra when he said, "I dedicate this song to someone special, you know who you are."

Today we talked about how we are going to design the yearbook pages. We dont have enough pages for all the clubs so we were thinking about putting them with the class "mug shots".

Today we got in our small group to discuss. Im in the design staff. We talked about how to layout the pages in the yearbook and came up with ideas. We also talked about how we have to make all the pages go with the theme and let them not go off topic.

Design Staff.

Some of the layouts i looked out were good and i really liked them. The reason why they worked was because everything worked together the pictures looks good and organized and the captions and writing were good. Also the layouts and designs stayed with the topic with the year book.

• I think its important to know everyone in your group because once you start working together we have to know hoe to work and talk to each other so everything will come out good and it looks good and not all over the place.

• My position is the Design Staff: i design the layout of the pages of the yearbook.

• I have to layout the pages and the way i interact will be it has to look good with all the pictures and the captions from all the other people.

• Primary for the students and secondary for the staff and parents.

• The yearbook has offered memories for our school but the advertising was not enough. i think once you advertise it and make everyone exited then it will be good.

• clubs me and my friends are a part of are Wild Cat dance team, Theatre, project children of Karatu, Garden club

• Yes i can make it to weekend events and also after school events.

i loved loved loved this yearbook. The way it was set up and everything was just perfect, i really liked the theme of it it was good and the inside also had it. It didnt loose its theme.

the reason why i like this one is because i can really relate to it, because it shows how fast the school year goes and it also relates to the saying, "faster than the speed of light."

Varsity Seniors lining up for their last football game of the season. Superstar quarterback Brennan Whie has lead the Lions to victory since the beginning of the season. The LIons have won all of their games, and cant be defeated. Can these boys make history and win the championship for the Lions. 

Photography Slideshow :)

Find a different angle slide: This photographer was taking pictures from many different angles. Pictures were taken from above, underneath, behind, and right in front of.

Use the rule of thirds slide: Looking at these photos imagining the grid the focal point was always on the side of the frame.

Leading lines slide: In the these pictures the arrow is always point to the main focus .

Use framing slide: In these photos framing is putting the main focus in between figures so the eye will directly go to the main focus.

My 3 favorite shots: One of the pictures i chose was the guy playing baseball i liked his picture because it shows him in action with the dirt coming up from the ground, another picture is the one where the director is in the background from the stage it shows the hard they put into it. My last picture is the two girls playing  soccer i like it because it shows them in action going for the ball.

Staff Positions.

1. Photographer: I really like taking pictures outside of school :)
2. Digital Artist: i like using programs to fix my pictures!
3. Design Staff: i would like to make the layouts better :)
4. Caption Writers: im not really a good writer but its something i would like to do.
